For as long as my childhood memories reach back, long family road-trips and overseas holidays would have me carting along my not-so-little bag of essential art supplies. Pencils and crayons, drawing books, stickers and glitter, snazzy scissors and stencils. In cars, on planes and in airports, there I would sit for hours, creating pictures and colourful collages – lost for hours on end in a world of my own.
That sense of imagination has allowed me to feel at home in all things cultural and creative – in drama, music and dancing. But most especially, in art.
I graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Visual Studies at the University of Pretoria, and completed my Masters degree in Digital Culture & Media Studies in 2021.
Above all, drawing is my passion. I look forward to sharing it with you.
